Hello, I’m Minchang Chang, a photographer based in Seoul. I record Korea’s slowly changing landscapes and quiet moments of ease, found not in famous places but in everyday life.
For more than fifteen years, I have photographed people and moments through commercial and wedding work. I also spent thirteen years in overseas sales in the apparel export industry, working with people across many countries. In 2011, I helped launch a watch magazine, where I planned editorial photo shoots. Today, I work as an independent photographer, balancing personal projects with commissioned work.
Moving between film and digital, I try to look at scenes where light and time linger with a calm, attentive eye. Recently, I have been expanding my practice with agamographs, folding two interlaced photographs so that different moments and perspectives appear depending on where you stand.
Since 2026, I have served as a Seoul Citizen Reporter. I also run Snap Seoul | Snap Soul, a photography service that captures the days of travelers and families visiting Seoul. I’m fluent in English, so wherever you are, feel free to reach out if you’d like to work together.
